View or Edit Attributes

Asset attributes can be viewed or edited. Any edits made in the Asset Viewer are applied to the geodatabase.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The user must have Attributes or Geometry edit rights to edit attributes. See Add or Edit a Group in the Designer for 15.8 Guide for more information.
  1. From the Attributes or Relationships tab, click Edit to edit attributes.

TIP: On the Relationships tab, select the asset to reveal the Edit button.

NOTE: The attributes that are displayed in the Asset Viewer and their formatting is configured in Designer under GIS > Asset Groups > Asset Form Configuration for each asset type. See Add an Asset Type in the Designer for 15.8 Guide for more information.

  1. Edit the asset attributes as desired.
  2. Click Save.

If the asset that you're viewing has any related assets, these may be edited as well. See View or Edit Related Asset Attributes for more information.

  1. Click Return to stop editing attributes.
